We didn't learn farming
from a brief. We grew up in it.

Decision tools, knowledge hubs, and farmer-facing systems. Built in Adelaide, designed for adoption from day one.

Problems we see in agriculture

Good farming research exists.
It's just trapped in the wrong format.

  1. 01

    Research stuck in PDFs

Decades of trial data, fact sheets, and extension resources sitting in documents no one can search, filter, or build on.

  2. 02

    Acquittal by spreadsheet

Drought Fund milestones, NRM reporting, grant acquittals, all tracked in spreadsheets that one person understands and everyone dreads.

  3. 03

    Satellite data, no platform

NDVI imagery, soil data, and weather feeds exist, but nothing connects them to paddock-level decisions for individual growers.

  4. 04

    Programs without platforms

Farmer wellbeing and extension programs running on email and manual follow-up instead of purpose-built delivery systems.

Platforms built for
Australian agriculture.

Real platforms, real growers, real country. Built for adoption, not just delivery.

Why Redshift for agriculture

We grew up with the vocabulary, not a brief.

Second-generation agricultural technology

A family with 40 years in agronomy and research into how farmers actually adopt technology. We didn't arrive at agriculture through a sales pipeline, we grew up in it, and it shapes everything we build.

Adelaide-based, South Australian agriculture

Our agricultural work is concentrated in the SA Mallee and surrounding regions. We understand the landscape, the institutions, and the funding environment.

We speak the vocabulary

NDVI, Mallee Seeps, gross margins, soil amelioration, NRM reporting, Future Drought Fund acquittals. We've built tools for all of it, and we don't need your team to translate.

Built for the paddock, not the CBD

Lightweight interfaces, fast load times, and architecture that doesn't assume broadband. Your data stays onshore, hosted in Australia, encrypted at rest.

Frequently asked

The questions agricultural
organisations usually ask us.

Do you actually understand farming and agriculture operations?

Yes. We've built platforms for Mallee Sustainable Farming over multiple years, delivered a satellite vegetation analysis tool, created a Future Drought Fund knowledge hub, and rebuilt a farmer mental health platform. We know what NDVI means, we know what a Mallee Seep is, and we know what an NRM acquittal involves.

Can you work with government funding timelines and milestone reporting?

We've delivered projects funded by the Future Drought Fund and partnered with organisations reporting to GRDC, Landscape SA, and SA Drought Resilience Hub. We understand milestone-based delivery, acquittal documentation, and the specific accountability requirements of public funding.

What if we're not very technical?

Most of our agricultural clients aren't. We translate between farming operations and technical requirements — that's the job. You describe the problem in your language, and we build the solution without asking you to learn ours.

Will it work for people in regional areas with poor internet?

Yes — we design for regional and rural conditions from the start. Lightweight interfaces, sensible caching, and architecture that doesn't assume broadband. The Agrisolve platform serves farmers across the SA Mallee. Connectivity is a design constraint, not an afterthought.

Where is our data stored?

In Australia. We host on Australian cloud infrastructure with data encrypted at rest. No offshore storage, no third-party data sharing. For government-funded programs with specific compliance requirements, we're happy to walk through the architecture.

What does pricing look like?

Fixed-price quotes after discovery. No hourly surprises. Retainers for ongoing support are monthly, flat-rate, and cancellable. We scope agricultural projects carefully because the funding structures demand it.

You're a small team. What happens to a multi-year project if Harley is unavailable?

Short absences don't touch your project — hosting, backups, and milestone reporting run on standard cloud infrastructure and don't depend on anyone being at a keyboard. A longer absence is what we plan for: the senior specialists we already work with can step in and carry delivery, the code is documented for handover, and you own the code and the accounts. Worst case, any capable developer could pick it up without starting again. We build every project as if we might have to hand it over tomorrow.

Could we speak to your current agricultural clients?

Yes. We're happy to connect you with people at MSF or other agricultural partners who can speak to the work directly. Just ask.
